Less than 3 days to departure. It has snowed about 16 inches in the last 5 days. I cannot wait to be in 50 degree weather in just a few days! But first: I must pack. It is difficult knowing what to bring for a whole semester, spanning from winter through early summer. But I have taken the advice of past program participants to pack lightly and take favorites. Now it is only a matter of fitting everything into my suitcases...
As I have been packing and getting ready to leave, I've been feeling nervous about traveling alone overseas and taking classes at a French university with French students. But I am also very excited to have this opportunity and I'm looking forward to meeting my host family and eating all the food! Here I come, France!
